So tonight I decided I didn't feel like dealing with the throbbing scalp syndrome caused my my usual huge falls (not to mention they are in dire need of being resealed) so I busted out my light and fluffy solid blonde and black falls that I bought from Jaded Dreads way back in the day when they first opened up shop. I still have the email receipt, order #7. Since then they have become quite notorious for ripping people off or making people wait *over a year* for their order, but I never had a problem with them. Both of the orders I placed were received quickly. Of course this was like... 4 years ago. I like the dreads too, but I'm hesitant to place another order with them due to all the horror stories I've been hearing.
Went and saw Tech N9ne tonight at The Pageant. Definitely up there on the list of best Tech shows I've attended. STL knows how to get down with some T9... the crowd was in full effect. I enjoyed myself. Also had fun hanging out with my Stepharoo of course. Steph, Ryan, Sean, & I went to Ginghams after the show and I scarfed down a giant plate of lard which consisted of biscuits & gravy, bacon, 2 eggs over hard, and 4 pieces of toast which I slathered in a thick coating of butter and used to create egg sandwiches with. Washed down with a massive cranberry jumbo juice. GREASY DELIGHTS.
On my way to the concert I was driving up my street and near the top I noticed there was a man standing in the middle of the road with 4 dogs on leashes. He continued to stand there as I got closer so I came to a complete stop about 20 feet away from him. He stared at me for a minute and then moved off to the side of the road, so I *slowly* started passing him (I was seriously going like 5 mph at this point) and low and behold as I was passing him he starts yelling something at me. So I stop the car and roll the window down and he comes over and his face was bright red and he starts screaming at me: "SLOW THE FUCK DOWN BITCH! THIS IS A RESIDENTIAL AREA!! SLOW DOWN BLLLLARRRGH!!!" ...and I slowly turn my head towards him and put on a cheesy grin (which probably looked insane due to the way I was dressed/makeuped) and in my best gameshow host you-just-won-the-prize! voice say: YOU SIR ...NEED TO CALM DOWN!!" which totally fucking enraged this man beyond belief because it looked like his eyes were about to come popping out of his skull and he grabbed his phone out of his pocket and screamed THATS IT!!!! and ran around to the back of my car to (what I'm assuming) get my license plate number and call the cops on me. At this point I slammed the car in first gear and floored it, which in turn got the back tires going at a high rate of speed very quickly with no traction (aka massive burnout) creating a rubber cloud of smoke which totally engulfed the man and definitely didnt allow him to get my license plate number. As soon as I got traction I went fishtailing up the street at a high rate of speed, hopefully leaving the guy with chunks of my hot melted tire stuck to his face.
EAT SHIT.
I wasn't even going fast in the first place... probably under the speed limit at that. It's like the commercial that was out a while back for the Tiburon I believe, the one where the car is just sitting there parked and an old man yells at it to slow down.
No really, it was pretty fucking hilarious and I wish I would have had it on video because I would rewind the part where the guy looked like his face was going to explode over and over again. Best reaction ever.

Has anybody ready The Liars' Club by Mary Karr?
I just read it...
I hated it.
Like....haven't thought a book was *that* pointless in a really long time.
Oh, booksfree.com....the things you do to me.
I've read 23 books so far since turning 21....
I also kind of jumped the gun a little bit and bought a lot of books online for my summer travels...
Which, by the way include:
June 19-26 home
June 27-8 east coast
June 19-24 Phoenix
July 5-10ish home
July 11 Orientation in CoMO
July 14-August 19 Korea
flights will be booked shortly for coming home from MA & to and from Phoenix....other than those dates, though, I'll be in CoMO. I also have no idea what my life will be like post August 19th...
A lot of people who read a lot have an attachment to their books & like to buy them & keep them, etc....and I think that's a nice idea....but ever since I was little & my mother made me buy and sell paperbacks at yardsales....because I had way too many of them and I read way too fast...there was just no way that I really developed an attachment to any physical copy a book. I would read books online if more of them were avaliable that way.....whatever. And I only buy books for when I travel & I don't have access to a library, or, now, don't have access to booksfree.com - my new love / hate relationship...
Presented my final journalism project today. I'm kind of sad that it's over....!!!! BUT - we did a good job. I'm really happy with the way things turned out. I said everything I wanted to say, and I feel like I'm ready to go out in the real world and be a real journalist now....maybe....someday. Not until after August 19... Anyway, Rebekah and Alex both came to my presentation...which really did mean a lot to me. I will be at both of theirs with bells on...and at Andrew's as well.
My parents get in on Wednesday. How exciting.
Have been without the internet for 2ish days...finally got it back. I hate dealing with that....sorry to be passive aggressive but....yeah.
Speaking of...I'm also almost-sick. I say almost because I haven't gotten any worse since I first felt it coming on. My throat hurts & my head feels full of crap....but I've been taking zicam, ibuprofen, my leftover antibiotics, & NyQuil at night....I feel like a druggie. I'm constnatly popping pills, but I refuse to have this mess up graduation.
There is SO much more going on right now....but I've already written a lot, so I'll stop here. Still got a pretty busy week ahead.

 MOTORBOATIN' BOOBIES
You can't really see it up but I had my face all up in Laureli's boobs giving her the motorboat treatment haha... I went out to a party at her and her husband Shadow's house on Saturday night and it was a total blast, some of the most fun I've had in a while. We hung out, chatted, took photos (I didnt get any with my camera because the battery was dead), had a nerf gun war, and Jonathan and I had a marathon discussion encompassing just about everything for hours. Good times.
This week:
Monday helping Atom sand his car body. Then we're seeing Iron Man.
Tuesday: photos (possibly) and Tech N9ne show.
Wednesday: no plans yet, possibly a chore/get stuff done day
Thursday: preparing and leaving for Denver that night.
Friday: (after driving all through the early morning hours) picking up Ryan and Steph at the airport, sleeping, attending Dark Lotus show that evening.
Saturday: Hatchet Attacks!
Sunday: dropping Steph & Ryan off at the airport & driving myself back home.

Do you think Craig's soundboard is broken? I've realized he hasn't used it barely at all lately. Or maybe, I'm just used to him using it every day? o.O
I know he joked about getting rid of it last night because it took up too much electricity (or "electric-ness," as he calls it), but do you think it's actually broken/gone?
