ATTN: ANIMAL LOVERS
Two weeks ago, my best friend Karly's border collie pup tore the ligament in her knee. It went undiagnosed until two days ago, when we learned she will require majory surgery from an orthopedic specialist to correct. The longer it goes untreated, the less likely it is she'll make a full recovery. The surgery is going to be expensive, and we have no idea how she will be able to afford this surgery.

I'm reaching out in hopes that some of you might find it in your hearts to donate towards this surgery. Please, if you can, even the tiniest amount will help make it possible to make sure Karly's dog Kassi gets the care she needs. Hopefully with this surgery, someday she'll be able to soar after her frisbees again, but right now, we just hope and pray she'll walk normally again.

:( Thank you to everyone,

Christie

This makes me SO sad. :(

I really wish I had something to donate but I'm literally bending over backwards to make ends meet right now. The second I have anything extra though, I'll definitely hand it over if there is still a need.

The pup will be in my thoughts. ♥

I am so sorry to hear about this. This happened to my friends dog also, they
went and got the surgery though and are still paying it off now. Money
sucks. Can your friend get a loan?

I know, the surgeries are so expensive... Like $1,500! Maybe she could get a loan, but I know she's younger like me with not the best credit ever, so it would be hard for her to get a loan. I know her dog means so much to her that she would do anything it took though, so i will talk to her about it. thank you for the suggestion hun <3

awwww :(
could i send a check? i dont have paypal.
im totally serious though, i'd actually send a check. not sure how much i could donate, but even if it's $20 it helps right?
now is when i wish i was rich - THIS actually makes me sad and makes me feel i could make a difference. and it makes me feel stupid for bitching about "not having enough money for shoes/makeup/starbucks".
poor baby. :(

yeah you could totally send a check.... she actually lives in Pennsylvania, so it'd get to her address from you faster than it would get to me. Don't feel pressured to do it, but it would help SO much if you could donate anything at all. we aren't expecting people to do it because they feel bad... but you are so right when you say it's for a good cause.

but you know, animals are like our children... and i know if my puppy was in the same situation i would be as upset as she is. Her dog is so sweet and she loves her so much, I can't bear thinking the dog would never get help. I am donating too, even though I can't donate much to her.

Love you. Let me know what you decide to do, and if you do decide to send a check i'll give you the address. xo
